The hygienic indicators of this standard are in accordance with GB13114-1994 "Hygienic Standard for Polyethylene Terephthalate Resin for Food Containers and Packaging Materials" and GB13113-1905
1. Scope This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of thermoformed products.
2. Reference standards
2.1 GB13114-1994 "Hygienic Standard for Polyethylene Terephthalate Resin for Food Containers and Packaging Materials"
2.2 GB13113-1994 "Hygienic Standard for Polyethylene Terephthalate Molded Products for Food Containers and Packaging Materials" 》
2.3 GB/T5009.60-2003 "Analysis methods for hygienic standards of polyethylene, polystyrene and polypropylene molded products for food packaging" 2.4 GB9689-2003 "Hygienic standards
for polyethylene, polystyrene and polypropylene molded products for food packaging" Standard"
2.5 GB2828-1987 "Batch-by-batch inspection and counting sampling procedures and sampling tables." (Note: The above five items are the standards cited by our company before transitioning to US FDA standards)
3. Product classification 3.1 According to the materials used in the products, they can be divided into HIPS thermoformed products (high impact polystyrene), GPPS thermoformed products (general-purpose polystyrene), BOPS thermoformed products (biaxially oriented polystyrene), CPS thermoformed products (cast polystyrene), CPP thermoformed products (cast polypropylene), PET thermoformed products (
polyethylene terephthalate). 3.2 Specifications: Determined according to the outer dimensions of thermoformed products. 3.3 Special specifications shall be agreed upon by both parties.
4.Technical Requirements 4.1 Appearance Requirements
4.1.1 The product is complete and full in shape, with clear outlines and smooth surface. No deformation, ribbing or warping is allowed. There are no bubble spots and concave spots beyond the design requirements. The thickness of the four sides is uniform, and there is no visible deformation or poor molding.
4.1.2 The appearance of the product has complete incisions, with basically no gaps, burrs, etc.
4.1.3 The surface of the product should be clean and free of dust, oil spots, powder, color spots, stains, debris, etc.
4.2 Specifications and Dimensions The deviation of product appearance dimensions should be within ±1.0 mm of the design dimensions. The internal dimensions are suitable for placing the contents.
4.3 Weight deviation The weight deviation of the product shall not exceed ±5% of the approved weight.
4.4 Hygienic performance The hygienic performance of this product should comply with GB/T5009.60-2003 "Analysis Methods for Hygienic Standards for Polyethylene, Polystyrene and Polypropylene Molded Products for Food Packaging" and GB9689-88 "Polystyrene Molding for Food Packaging" "Hygienic Standards for Products" and GB13113-1994 "Hygienic Standards for Polyethylene Terephthalate Molded Products for Food Containers and Packaging Materials".
5. Test method
5.1 Appearance inspection. Visual inspection in natural light.
5.2 Specification and size inspection. The overall dimensions are measured with a vernier caliper with an accuracy of 0.02mm, accurate to one decimal place.
5.3 Weight standard inspection. Measure with an electronic balance scale with a sensing capacity of 0.1g.
6.testing regulations
6.1 The inspection rules are carried out in accordance with GB2828-1987 "Batch-by-Batch Inspection, Counting and Sampling Procedures and Sampling Tables". The receiving company has the right to inspect the products. During the inspection, one order quantity is considered as one batch. There should be no mixed products with different quality or disparity in the same batch.
6.2 The number of sampling boxes in each batch shall not be less than 2% of the total number of boxes.
6.3 The quantity per box shall not be less than 10% of the sampling quantity.
6.4 Inspection items shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this standard: 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.
6.5 If the inspection results do not meet the specified indicators once, double samples should be taken again and the unqualified items should be re-inspected. If the re-inspection results still do not meet the specified indicators, the batch of products can be treated as unqualified.
